a-IDEA

a-IDEA is a technology business incubator hosted by the ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) in Hyderabad, India. It focuses on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture by providing support to startups across various domains, including agri-tech, biotechnology, and food processing. The incubator offers a range of services such as capacity building, mentoring, networking, investment, and advisory support to help early-stage ventures scale and become competitive in the agribusiness sector.

Established in 2014, a-IDEA has incubated over 310 startups and facilitated more than ₹139 crore in funding. The facility spans 14,000 square feet, accommodating 25 startups, and includes lab facilities, pilot plants, testing facilities, and office spaces. The incubator's mission is to empower agribusinesses and technology-driven ventures by providing them with the right tools, resources, and knowledge to thrive. It aims to bridge the gap between traditional agricultural practices and modern technological advancements, creating scalable solutions that address real-world challenges.
