ACCIÓ StartUp Capital

ACCIÓ StartUp Capital is a public investment program initiated by the Generalitat de Catalunya to bolster the financing of innovative startups within Catalonia. The program offers direct grants of up to €100,000 to emerging technological startups, aiming to assist them in the initial phases of business development, product or service validation, and market entry. This initiative is designed to provide a significant boost to startups with proprietary technology, facilitating their growth and market presence.

The program is tailored for startups that are established at the time of the call's publication and have a maximum of 18 months of operation at the time of application. It focuses on early-stage companies that require support to validate their technology and continue the process of market entry, including access to other sources of financing. The grants are intended to cover expenses related to personnel, materials and equipment investments, rental of spaces, and the development of communication strategies, among others.

Since its inception, ACCIÓ StartUp Capital has been instrumental in fostering the growth of numerous startups in Catalonia.
