Alloy Labs

Alloy Labs is a collaborative innovation consortium composed primarily of community and mid-sized banks, aiming to foster banking innovation through strategic investments and partnerships. The consortium facilitates collective technology adoption, shared due-diligence processes, joint fintech partnerships, and strategic investments in early-stage technology companies. By pooling expertise, resources, and scale, Alloy Labs helps smaller banks compete with larger financial institutions.

The consortium operates through several key initiatives: the Alloy Labs Alliance, a peer consortium of banks; the Alloy Alchemist Fund, a strategy-led venture capital fund; and the Alloy Labs Institute, which provides insights and advisory services. These efforts enable member banks to collaborate, share insights, and invest in fintech companies shaping the future of financial services.

Founded in 2018 by Jason Henrichs and JP Nicols, Alloy Labs has grown to include over 80 member banks across the United States. The consortium's model emphasizes collaboration and shared learning, allowing member banks to co-create differentiated solutions and achieve exponential growth in a rapidly changing financial landscape.
