American Express Ventures is the strategic investment group of American Express, established in 2011 to invest in innovative startups that enhance the company's core capabilities and accelerate efforts in digital commerce and financial inclusion. The firm focuses on both domestic and international investment opportunities, seeking companies that will help accelerate American Express's digital transformation, strengthen connections to its global network of Card Members, and develop new ways to drive contextual relevance for commerce on new and existing platforms.
