Anand Lunia

Anand Lunia is a seasoned entrepreneur and angel investor, best known for co-founding India Quotient, a Bengaluru-based venture capital firm established in 2012. The firm specializes in early-stage investments, particularly in sectors such as SaaS, fintech, direct-to-consumer brands, agritech, and content platforms. India Quotient has raised multiple funds, including a $129 million fund in October 2025, aiming to support pre-seed, seed, and idea-stage startups with investments ranging from ₹1 crore to ₹15 crore per startup.

Prior to founding India Quotient, Lunia was a partner at Seedfund, where he led investments in companies like CarWale and Mydentist. He also co-founded Brainvisa Technologies, an ed-tech company, which he sold in 2005. His angel investments include Faasos, Mydentist, and Inkfruit. Lunia holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering.

India Quotient's portfolio includes notable companies such as ShareChat, Sugar Cosmetics, Lendingkart, Vyapar, and Kuku FM.
