Angel CoFund

The Angel CoFund is a UK government-backed initiative designed to co-invest alongside business angel syndicates into high-potential small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across England. Established with a grant from the Regional Growth Fund, the fund aims to boost the quality and quantity of business angel investing in England, supporting long-term, high-quality jobs in growing companies. It invests amounts ranging from £100,000 to £1 million, working in partnership with experienced business angels to help companies fulfill their growth potential.

The fund focuses on a wide range of sectors, including technology, healthcare, consumer goods, energy, financial services, media, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing, transportation, education, agriculture, construction, real estate, and professional services. It targets various stages of company development, from seed and early-stage investments to growth and late-stage funding. By investing alongside business angel syndicates, the Angel CoFund leverages private sector expertise and resources to maximize the impact of its investments.
