Atland Ventures is a student-run venture capital firm based at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. The firm focuses on investing in startups and digitally native companies that resonate with the Gen Z experience. The firm's investment strategy centers on early-stage companies, particularly those in the pre-seed and seed stages, with check sizes ranging from $25,000 to $50,000. Atland Ventures seeks technology-enabled businesses that have demonstrated product-market fit and possess a distinct competitive advantage. The team comprises 28 students from diverse academic backgrounds, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation process that considers various facets of potential investments.
