Atta Impact Capital (ATTA) is a place-based impact investing organization that increases access to capital for early-stage impact-driven companies in emerging markets. Through its Mesoamerican Catalytic Fund 1 (MCF1), ATTA focuses on providing equity and quasi-equity investments to companies generating positive social and environmental impact in Central America and Southern Mexico. The fund aims to support around ten companies over the next three years, offering resources to help them scale their impact-driven businesses.

ATTA's investment strategy is tailored to the unique needs of the Mesoamerican region, emphasizing 'Femto-VC' investments of less than $2 million USD. This approach seeks to address the financing gap for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region, enabling them to access the necessary capital to grow and create positive change. The fund's sectors of interest include technology, healthcare, agriculture, renewable energy, education, and financial services, among others.

The launch of MCF1 was made possible through the support of multilateral organizations, foundations, and private contributors, such as the IDB Lab, Fundación CRUSA, Michael Donovan, and Steve Dauphin. These partners share ATTA's commitment to fostering economic growth and social development in the Mesoamerican region by empowering local entrepreneurs and businesses. By providing tailored financial solutions and technical assistance, ATTA aims to catalyze sustainable development and improve the quality of life for communities across Central America and Southern Mexico.
