AVITIC Innovation Fund

AVITIC Innovation Fund is a joint venture between Applied Ventures, LLC, the corporate venture arm of Applied Materials, Inc., and ITIC-Taiwan, the Industrial Technology Investment Corporation. The fund focuses on deep technology investments in high-tech sectors and supply chain systems, aiming to support startups in becoming scalable businesses that contribute to socio-economic development and have a positive impact on the world.

The fund's investment interests span several high-tech industries, including advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, sustainability, life sciences, AI & big data, and more than Moore technologies. AVITIC seeks to drive innovation in these areas by investing in materials to systems stack globally, supporting companies that are critical for a better and sustainable future.

AVITIC has made several investments, including participating in the Series B funding round for Wise-integration, a French company specializing in digital control of gallium nitride (GaN) and GaN ICs for power supplies. The fund also invested in SCINTIL Photonics as part of their Series B on September 9, 2025. These investments reflect AVITIC's commitment to advancing deep technology and innovation across various sectors.
