Bouygues Telecom Initiatives

Bouygues Telecom Initiatives (BTI) is the corporate venture arm of Bouygues Telecom, established in 2009 to support the growth of innovative startups. BTI focuses on fostering open innovation by creating strong relationships between Bouygues Telecom's operational teams and startups, enabling mutual opportunities for development and technological advancement. Since its inception, BTI has evaluated over 3,400 projects, leading to 130 co-development initiatives and 20 investments.

BTI's investment strategy encompasses various stages, from Seed to Late Stage, with ticket sizes ranging from €500,000 to €5 million. The fund primarily targets startups in sectors such as telecommunications, technology, cybersecurity, fintech, construction, energy, services, media, transport, infrastructure, real estate, digital services, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things. This diverse focus aligns with Bouygues Telecom's commitment to integrating new technologies and business models across its various business segments.

Over the years, BTI has been instrumental in the success of several startups, including Recommerce, a leader in high-end smartphone refurbishment; Deepomatic, specializing in AI-driven image analysis; and Evina, a Paris-based cybersecurity firm protecting telecom operators from fraudulent transactions. These partnerships exemplify BTI's dedication to driving innovation and transformation within Bouygues Telecom and its affiliated industries.
