Brian Bedol is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor specializing in early-stage media and technology ventures. He is the founder and CEO of Bedrocket Media Ventures, a company dedicated to creating and distributing high-quality programming across multiple digital platforms. Under his leadership, Bedrocket has co-founded NowThis News, a progressive social media-focused news organization, and Sportsrocket, a provider of strategy, technology, and operations to sports rights holders. Bedrocket has also collaborated on several projects, including the digital destination Flama with Univision and the first comedy channel on Spotify.
Prior to his ventures with Bedrocket, Bedol co-founded Classic Sports Network in 1995, which was acquired by ESPN in 1997. He also co-founded College Sports Television (CSTV) in 2002, which was acquired by CBS in 2006. Bedol's early career includes roles as an advertising writer and producer for the launch of MTV, as well as serving as a partner overseeing television and home video at Quantum Media Ventures.
Bedol holds a bachelor's degree from Boston University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has served as a Senior Advisor at the MIT Center for Constructive Communication and has been involved in various advisory roles and investments in the media and technology sectors.
