Investor Details Founded: 2009
An American-born entrepreneur and investor active in Latin America, focusing on early-stage startups. He co-founded VivaReal, a leading online real estate marketplace in Brazil, in 2009. Under his leadership as CEO, VivaReal grew rapidly, eventually merging with ZAP Imóveis in 2017 to form Grupo ZAP, which was acquired by OLX Brasil in 2020 for approximately $600 million.
After his tenure at Grupo ZAP, Requarth founded Latitud in 2020, a community and pre-seed fund dedicated to supporting early-stage founders in Latin America. Latitud Ventures, the investment arm of Latitud, has made over 120 investments across the region, with a focus on Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia. Requarth has also invested in more than 80 startups as an angel investor.
In addition to his entrepreneurial and investment activities, Requarth authored the book "Viva the Entrepreneur," sharing his experiences in building and scaling companies in Latin America.
