BStartup Health is Banco Sabadell's dedicated programme aimed at supporting innovative health projects in the pre-seed and seed stages. The programme focuses on investing in Spanish companies with international growth prospects, particularly in the fields of medical devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, and e-health. Investments are primarily directed towards validating technology, research, and business models to facilitate progression to subsequent funding rounds.

The investment criteria emphasize projects led by entrepreneurs with a strong commitment to their ventures, global ambition, and experience in the sector. BStartup Health seeks companies that offer a differentiated and innovative value proposition addressing real, unmet needs. The programme has a history of investing in over 20 health sector companies, including Time is Brain, Thytech, Sycai Medical, Inbrain Neuroelectronics, Gate2Brain, Dive Medical, Admit Therapeutics, Able Human Motion, Renalyse, Oxolife, Doppli, MiWEndo, Oniria, and Nanobots Therapeutics.

BStartup Health operates as an evergreen investment vehicle, 100% owned by Banco Sabadell, providing high-value business and financial connections. The programme offers investments of up to €200,000 in exchange for equity, with the opportunity for selected projects to present their ventures to leading health investment funds and receive valuable feedback. The next call for applications is scheduled for September 2026.
