CaixaBank DayOne

CaixaBank DayOne is a division of CaixaBank dedicated to assisting technology-based companies and their investors. It offers tailored financial services to startups and scale-ups, focusing on those with proprietary products and intellectual property, primarily in life sciences and hardware sectors. The division also caters to innovative companies with scalable business models and global reach, mainly in digital and software industries. Additionally, DayOne provides support to investors, including business angels, venture capital firms, and corporates, focusing on early-stage companies.

The division operates through dedicated centers in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Zaragoza, Bilbao, and Málaga, serving 14 autonomous communities in Spain. These centers function as hubs for talent and capital, offering personalized financial advice, specialized solutions, and a global network of contacts. DayOne also organizes various entrepreneurship initiatives, such as the EmprendeXXI Awards, DayOne Innovation Summits, and Open Innovation Programs, to foster technological innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit.

Since its launch in December 2017, CaixaBank DayOne has experienced significant growth, increasing its client base tenfold and surpassing 5,000 clients by April 2025. The division has also expanded its territorial presence, providing support to innovative technology companies in the Balearic Islands and other regions. In 2024, DayOne conducted 24% more new financing transactions compared to the previous year, with a total of 1,827 operations, solidifying its position as a key player in the innovation economy.
