CJ Investment, formerly known as Timewise Investment, is the venture capital arm of CJ Group, focusing on technology and media investments. Established in 2000 as Dream Discovery, the company underwent name changes to CJ Venture Investment in 2003 and Timewise Investment in 2014. In August 2022, CJ Corporation acquired 100% of Timewise Investment for 22.1 billion won ($16.9 million), leading to its rebranding as CJ Investment. The firm has a history of investing in promising startups across various industries, including food, biotechnology, and IT.

CJ Investment's strategy involves leveraging CJ Group's extensive resources and capabilities to support the growth and stabilization of its portfolio companies. Over the next five years, CJ Investment plans to invest 400 billion won ($306 million) in startups, focusing on four major growth engines: culture, platform, wellness, and sustainability.
