Investor Details
Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB) is Nigeria's first open living lab and pre-incubation space, established in 2010 to accelerate the application of social capital and technology for economic prosperity. Located in Lagos, it serves as a multi-functional hub where technologists, social entrepreneurs, government agencies, tech companies, impact investors, and hackers collaborate to develop solutions to social challenges in Nigeria. The centre offers a platform for sharing ideas and resources, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within the tech ecosystem.
Over the years, CcHUB has expanded its reach across Africa, with physical presence in cities such as Lagos, Abuja, Ijebu-Ode, Kigali, and Nairobi. This expansion reflects its commitment to nurturing innovative solutions to social problems continent-wide. The centre has been instrumental in supporting numerous startups and social tech ventures, providing them with the necessary resources, mentorship, and funding to scale their operations. Notable ventures that have emerged from CcHUB include BudgIT, Wecyclers, Truppr, Genii Games, Lifebank, GoMyWay, Vacantboards, Traclist, Autobox, Stutern, Findworka, Grit Systems, and Mamalette.
In addition to its incubation and acceleration programs, CcHUB has been involved in various initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and addressing societal challenges. In 2019, it acquired Nairobi's iHub, further solidifying its presence in the African innovation landscape. The centre continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology and entrepreneurship in Africa, driving economic growth and social impact through innovation.
