Concept Ventures is the UK's largest dedicated pre-seed fund, established in 2018 with a £54 million fund supporting founders focused on reshaping how we work, play, and learn. As first-cheque investors, they provide initial investments of up to £750,000 and can participate in rounds up to £2 million, reserving a portion of their fund to support companies through Series A and beyond. Their investment approach is founder-first, emphasizing flexibility and transparency, with a four-step process: Introduction, Deeper Dive, Partner Call, and Investment Committee.

The firm is committed to a values-led organization, pledging 1% of the total carry pool to charities chosen by their founders. This aligns their investment with the socially responsible values held by their founders to make a positive impact. Notable portfolio companies include ElevenLabs, V-Sim, Cliff.ai, and Playter.

In September 2025, Concept Ventures announced the launch of its $88 million Fund II, one of the largest dedicated pre-seed funds in Europe. This fund aims to back up to 50 companies at the pre-seed stage across the UK and Europe, with average cheques of $1 million and plans to lead more than 90% of rounds. The participation of US investors was a significant vote of confidence in the European startup ecosystem.
