Cree Banreservas

Cree Banreservas is a venture capital program established by the Banco de Reservas in the Dominican Republic, dedicated to fostering the development of innovative startups with high growth potential. The program offers non-traditional financing and equity investment in exchange for ownership stakes, aiming to stimulate the country's socio-economic growth. Since its inception in 2015, Cree Banreservas has evaluated over 5,200 entrepreneurial projects and invested more than RD$72 million in capital for innovative ventures.

The program provides comprehensive support to entrepreneurs, including technical mentorship, access to a network of mentors, and connections with other entrepreneurs and potential investors. It operates through various initiatives, such as the General Call Program, which is open year-round for projects requiring investment to scale their operations, and the Pre-Acceleration Program, designed for existing projects needing business model reinforcement and mentorship to prepare for investment. These programs are structured to enhance the viability and success of startups in the Dominican Republic.

Cree Banreservas has a track record of selecting and supporting numerous startups across diverse sectors. Notable examples include Eco Trofeos, a company specializing in eco-friendly trophies; Tag Shelf, a digital studio offering AI-driven solutions; and Contapp, an online platform assisting small businesses with digital accounting and invoicing.
