DeepTech & Climate Fonds

DeepTech & Climate Fonds (DTCF) is a German venture capital fund established to support the growth of companies specializing in deep-tech and climate-tech sectors. The fund focuses on businesses with extended development cycles and substantial capital requirements, aiming to foster innovation and technological advancement in Germany and Europe. DTCF collaborates with private investors, including family offices, foundations, and private companies, to provide comprehensive financial backing and strategic guidance to emerging technology companies.

The fund's investment strategy encompasses a wide range of industries, including Industry 4.0, robotics, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, process automation, digital health, new energy, smart cities, new materials, and selected biotech areas. DTCF typically invests between €1 million and €30 million per company, co-investing alongside private partners to ensure sustainable growth and long-term success. The fund operates with a minimum term of 25 years, reflecting its commitment to supporting companies through their growth phases.

Since its inception, DTCF has made significant investments in various sectors, including a €10 million investment in the quantum computing startup planqc in July 2024. This investment underscores the fund's dedication to advancing cutting-edge technologies and addressing global challenges through innovative solutions.
