Dogpatch Labs

Dogpatch Labs is a startup hub situated in the historic chq Building in Dublin's Digital Docklands. Its mission is to accelerate the development of Ireland's startup ecosystem by providing a platform for entrepreneurship and innovation. The hub is home to over 250 startups and more than 500 members from 30 countries, offering a vibrant community for entrepreneurs to grow, share knowledge, and form connections. Dogpatch Labs operates Ireland's national accelerator, the National Digital Research Centre (NDRC), in partnership with regional hubs Portershed, RDI Hub, and Republic of Work. This accelerator program supports early-stage, globally scalable tech startups through coaching, mentoring, and a €100,000 investment using a founder-friendly, uncapped SAFE note. The program aims to help startups succeed at every point of their journey, with a founder-first approach delivered by international experts. Dogpatch Labs also collaborates with corporate partners such as Ulster Bank, Google, ESB, Pivotal, Unilever, and Alltech to deliver corporate innovation programs. These initiatives help large organizations engage with the startup ecosystem and foster innovation within their companies. Notable programs include Alltech's Pearse Lyons Accelerator, considered one of the top agtech programs globally, with startups applying from 52 countries. The hub has been recognized for its contributions to the startup ecosystem, winning Google's Global Citizenship Award in 2017 and its Global Diversity & Inclusion Award in 2018. Visitors have included The Duke & Duchess of Sussex and The King & Queen of the Netherlands, acknowledging Dogpatch Labs' role in accelerating the development of Ireland's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Alumni include Ireland's first unicorn tech company, Intercom, and other successful startups that have raised significant funding and created numerous jobs. Dogpatch Labs continues to play a pivotal role in nurturing and supporting the growth of startups across Ireland, contributing to the country's reputation as a leading hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
