dunnhumby ventures is the corporate venture fund of dunnhumby, focusing on early-stage retail technology startups that utilize data and artificial intelligence to innovate along the customer's path to purchase. By partnering with founders at an early stage, dunnhumby ventures aims to accelerate their ability to innovate and go to market by leveraging dunnhumby's retail industry expertise, data science assets, and global retailer and supplier client base. The fund's areas of investment include artificial intelligence and analytics, consumer behavior data, computer vision, retail media, customer engagement and personalization, supply chain and store operations, and eCommerce. In June 2024, dunnhumby ventures launched the Retail Innovation Network, a global program designed to bring together early-stage startups, established technology partners, retailer and CPG innovation teams, and other venture investors. This initiative aims to remove barriers to innovation and collaboratively accelerate its velocity in the retail and consumer goods ecosystem. The network serves as a platform for cultivating strategic alliances, seeking and providing growth funding, and exchanging global industry expertise. Membership is reviewed on a rolling basis, with benefits exclusive and complimentary to the network. As of November 2025, dunnhumby ventures has invested in over 15 businesses across various sectors, including artificial intelligence and analytics, consumer behavior data, computer vision, retail media, customer engagement and personalization, supply chain and store operations, and eCommerce. Notable investments include Harmonya, a company specializing in AI-powered product data enrichment, and Augmodo, which focuses on spatial AI for commerce. Through these investments and initiatives, dunnhumby ventures continues to support and drive innovation in the retail and consumer goods sectors, fostering a more data-driven and customer-centric industry landscape.
