Falabella Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of Falabella Group, a leading Chilean multinational company operating in retail, financial services, and real estate. The venture arm focuses on investing in innovative startups that address key challenges and create value across Falabella's diverse business units, including Sodimac (home improvement), Banco Falabella (banking), Tottus (supermarkets), Mallplaza (shopping malls), Falabella Retail, Falabella Marketplace, and IKEA. The investment strategy of Falabella Ventures targets startups in sectors such as e-commerce, fintech, insurtech, logistics, retail, marketplace, and store-tech. The fund primarily invests in companies at Series A and Series B stages, with investment sizes ranging from US$1 million to US$5 million. The geographical focus includes countries where Falabella operates, including Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Mexico. This strategic approach enables Falabella Ventures to support startups that can complement and enhance the group's existing operations and services.
