The firm was established in 2015 as Fatima Ventures and later partnered with Gobi Partners to launch Fatima Gobi Ventures, a $20 million fund dedicated to supporting early-stage technology companies in Pakistan. The firm's investment strategy targets sectors such as travel, logistics, fintech, healthcare, education, e-commerce, consumer tech, industrial internet, and Taqwatech. Fatima Gobi Ventures has invested in leading startups like Tajir, Safepay, Abhi, Adalfi, Lean Technologies, and Sasta Ticket. Additionally, the firm co-launched the National Incubation Center (NIC) Lahore in partnership with the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and Ignite, aiming to create 200 companies over the next five years and generate thousands of jobs.
