Our three main activities consist of matchmaking of startups and investors, sharing of best practices, and representing the interest of private investors. Our vision is to become the world’s leading private-investors’ network and make Finland the best country in the world for growth-company investing. FiBAN was founded by the initiative of business angels Juha Kurkinen and Ari Korhonen in 2010. The initial event was arranged in cooperation with Risto Kalske from Sitra. The activity started with the gathering of the following business angels 7th of December 2010. The activity was coordinated by Claes Mikko Nilsen (prev. Nieminen).
