Fonds Stratégique de Participations

The Fonds Stratégique de Participations (FSP) is a French investment firm managed by ISALT, established in 2013. It is backed by seven major French insurance companies: BNP Paribas Cardif, CNP Assurances, Crédit Agricole Assurances, Groupama, BPCE Assurances, Société Générale Assurances, and Suravenir. The FSP's mission is to contribute to the development of French companies by investing long-term in their capital and participating in their governance. By mobilizing significant capital from long-term French savings, the FSP actively supports essential societal transformations, providing visible and sustained backing to businesses. The FSP believes that long-term vision and execution are key drivers of sustainable value creation for all stakeholders.

The FSP targets innovative businesses with high potential for value creation and competitiveness, focusing on sectors such as technology, healthcare, real estate, financial services, energy, consumer goods, industrial manufacturing, telecommunications, media, transportation, utilities, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and aerospace. It invests across various stages, including early stage, growth, late stage, pre-IPO, and buyout, with investment sizes ranging from $10 million to $500 million. As of December 31, 2023, the FSP held 11 investments with total assets of €2.1 billion.

The FSP's portfolio includes companies like Eutelsat (satellite operator), Elior (collective catering), Valeo (automotive supplier), Arkema (materials science), Tikehau Capital (alternative asset management), Groupe SEB (small domestic equipment), Robertet (fragrances and flavors), Verkor (electric vehicle batteries), Soitec (semiconductor materials), and Neoen (renewable energy). The FSP actively participates in the governance of these companies by sitting on their boards of directors or supervisory boards, aiming to support their growth and strategic development.
