Geovation

Geovation is an accelerator and innovation hub based in the United Kingdom, dedicated to fostering early-stage startups in the GeoTech and PropTech sectors. Established by Ordnance Survey in 2010, it operates in collaboration with HM Land Registry and Registers of Scotland, providing a comprehensive support system for entrepreneurs utilizing location and property data to address global challenges. The organization offers tailored resources, mentorship, office spaces, and access to high-quality government data, aiming to drive innovation and create social, economic, and environmental value through the innovative use of location data.

The accelerator program has a proven track record, having supported over 150 geospatial and property startups, which have collectively raised more than £130 million in funding and created 2,500 jobs for the UK economy. Geovation's ecosystem comprises a community of over 1,800 members, including experts in GeoTech and PropTech from various industries, collaborating to develop solutions that leverage location data for impactful outcomes. The organization also partners with six innovation hubs across the UK—Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, and Leeds—expanding its reach and fostering a richer community of innovators.
