Global Partnerships/Eleos Social Venture Fund

The Global Partnerships/Eleos Social Venture Fund (SVF) is an impact-first fund dedicated to investing in early-stage social enterprises that provide essential products and services to underserved communities in East Africa. The fund focuses on sectors such as education, energy, health, livelihoods, and water and sanitation, aiming to broaden opportunities across various facets of poverty, deepen inclusion of underserved populations, and improve lives through sustainable and scalable solutions.

SVF addresses the 'pioneer gap' by supporting early-stage social enterprises with a combination of investment capital and board-level advisory support. The fund invests in Seed and Series A rounds, with ticket sizes ranging from $100,000 to $500,000. In addition to financial support, SVF provides board-level advisory support and specific technical assistance as required.

As of September 30, 2025, SVF's portfolio includes companies such as Amped Innovation PBC, Arifu (Akengo Corp.), Good Nature Agro Inc., Kwanza Tukule Foods Ltd, Penda Health Limited, Tugende Global Limited, Turaco, and YYTZ Agro-Processing, Inc. These enterprises are working to improve the economic position and quality of life for households living in poverty across East Africa.
