Investor Details Founded: 2022

Gold House Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm investing in industry-shifting startups led by best-in-class multicultural founders. The firm partners with the next generation of Asian Pacific operators turned founders and welcomes investors advancing culture and heritage through an affinity-based, returns-driven model. Gold House Ventures aims to boost API leadership in the corporate world by promoting Asian entrepreneurs. Asian American professionals are the least likely demographic in the U.S. to be promoted into management. The fund's investors include venture capital firms like NEA, philanthropies like the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and entrepreneurs like DoorDash CEO Tony Xu. Gold House Ventures grew out of the nonprofit's existing work promoting API entrepreneurship. In 2019, Gold House launched an accelerator program for API-led companies. From the accelerator program, the organization created a founder network and a network of angel investors. The fund identifies portfolio companies through Gold House's accelerators and its investor network's deal flow. Gold House Ventures describes its work as "market-first social impact." The fund is a for-profit initiative for its limited partners, but all general partner fees and returns will be donated back to the nonprofit. None of this is because it's a donation that we're just going to subsidize. These are great businesses that are just overlooked. Gold House Ventures has primarily focused on Seed and Series A companies to date, which represent 76% of its portfolio. These are companies like Nectar (DTC allergy treatment) and Mercaso (wholesale e-commerce for businesses). The firm's largest source of early-stage investment opportunities is its Gold Rush accelerator, whose alumni include Oura (maker of the leading Smart Ring) and Clipboard Health (healthcare staffing platform). Gold Rush continues to attract amazing API founders who are selected after a rigorous application process. While Gold House Ventures is most active at the early stage, it has also opportunistically invested in later-stage companies (24% of its portfolio) that it has high conviction and affinity towards. For example, the firm participated in the growth round of multicultural e-grocer Weee! because not only are their business metrics world-class, but their Chief Creative Officer Jon M. Chu is a founding member of Gold House (and also an LP in Gold House Ventures) and CEO Larry Liu is someone the firm has known and admired for a half-decade now. In addition to spanning multiple stages, Gold House Ventures' investments have also spanned multiple sectors as the API community has shown they can be pioneers in any industry. The top sector for investment is Enterprise SaaS (representing 26% of the portfolio), which mirrors the growing concentration of Enterprise investments in overall VC investing. But the firm is also active in other categories ranging from e-commerce to fintech to web3. The interest and involvement in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) began with Gold Rush, where half of the accelerator companies in the first two years were in the Packaged Goods or Food & Beverage category. Gold House Ventures has made 84 investments. Their most recent investment was on September 15, 2025, when MedSetGo raised funding. The firm has raised a single venture fund, Gold House Ventures Fund I. This fund was announced on January 5, 2022, and raised a total of $30 million. Gold House Ventures has made 20 diversity investments. Their most recent diversity investment was on September 15, 2025, when MedSetGo raised funding. The firm has had one exit, which was Dray Alliance.
