Green Corp

Green Corp, established by Gulf Islamic Investments (GII), is a business creation platform focused on initiating, managing, and developing sustainable agricultural, aquaculture, food processing, and production projects across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. The platform aims to identify high-growth investment and expansion opportunities in the food processing, production, and distribution sectors, aligning with government policies to encourage more home-grown food products and value-added processing to reduce import dependence. In March 2024, Green Corp acquired Emad Bakeries, a leading industrial bakery in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, enhancing its food production and processing portfolio and advancing its vision of a unified GCC platform spanning the entire food value chain. This acquisition bolstered Green Corp's investments in food processing operations, complementing its existing ventures in controlled environment agriculture through Badia Farms in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain. The strategic move underscores Green Corp's commitment to strengthening regional food security and supporting sustainable food businesses across the GCC.
