HIMangel is an angel investment fund based in Cairo, Egypt, established in 2017 by Dr. Khaled Ismail. The fund focuses on supporting early-stage startups across various sectors, including healthcare, health-tech, ICT, manufacturing, waste management, recycling, and education technology. HIMangel aims to bridge the funding gap in Egypt by providing both financial support and strategic guidance to startups.

HIMangel's founder, Dr. Khaled Ismail, is a prominent figure in Egypt's investment landscape. Prior to founding HIMangel, he established SySDSoft, a pioneering engineering company specializing in 4G protocol stack development, which was acquired by Intel in 2011. Dr. Ismail has held leadership roles in global technology firms, including Managing Director of Intel Mobile Communications and Vice President of Engineering at Ellipsis Digital Systems. His extensive experience and network contribute significantly to HIMangel's ability to support and scale early-stage startups in Egypt.
