Hyderabad Angels

Hyderabad Angels is a prominent angel investment network headquartered in Hyderabad, India, dedicated to supporting early-stage startups across diverse sectors. Established in 2012, the network comprises over 100 investors, including industry leaders such as Pradeep Dhobale (Chairman), BVR Mohan Reddy (Ex-Chairman of Nasscom), and Srini Koppolu (Ex-MD of Microsoft). The network has invested in more than 75 startups globally, achieving over 15 successful exits.

The network focuses on seed-stage investments in emerging tech startups and growth-stage companies, leveraging its strong presence in Hyderabad to discover and invest in promising ventures across India and the USA. In March 2024, Hyderabad Angels launched its maiden venture capital fund, Hyderabad Angels Fund I, with a corpus of ₹150 crore, aiming to invest up to ₹5 crore each in 20 disruptive startups utilizing technology and AI for scalability.

Hyderabad Angels collaborates with other angel networks, incubators, accelerators, and institutes to discuss, ideate, co-invest, and share knowledge. The network's investment strategy emphasizes providing not only capital but also expertise, networks, and strategic insights to portfolio companies, ensuring they have the support needed to scale globally.
