InvestTN

InvestTN is a $70 million equity investment fund managed by Launch Tennessee, dedicated to supporting early and growth-stage startups across Tennessee. The fund focuses on providing capital to companies in various industries, including SaaS, aiming to foster innovation and economic development within the state. InvestTN operates through three primary funds: the Regional Seed Fund, the Growth Fund, and the Multi Fund, each targeting different stages and types of investments.

The Regional Seed Fund, with $28 million in capital, supports early-stage startups across Tennessee, offering investments ranging from $25,000 to $250,000. The Growth Fund, totaling $36 million, targets growth-stage companies with investments between $250,000 and $3 million, focusing on high-potential businesses in sectors such as Advanced Energy, Advanced Manufacturing, AgTech, BioTech, ClimateTech, Consumer Products and Technology, Data and AI, FinTech, HealthTech, and Mobility and Logistics. The Multi Fund, with $6 million in capital, invests in venture capital funds dedicated to Tennessee-based companies, with commitments ranging from $1 million to $3 million.

Since its inception in 2012, Launch Tennessee has funded 36 startups across various industries, including SaaS, demonstrating a strong commitment to nurturing Tennessee's entrepreneurial ecosystem. The fund's strategic approach aims to catalyze private investment, with a goal of generating $10 of private capital for every $1 invested through the SSBCI program. By providing tailored investment options and fostering connections within the state's innovation community, InvestTN plays a pivotal role in advancing Tennessee's economic growth and technological advancement.
