Under his leadership as President and CEO, AirWatch expanded its customer base to over 5,300 organizations across various industries, including financial services, retail, healthcare, government, and manufacturing. In 2014, VMware acquired AirWatch for $1.54 billion, marking one of the largest technology acquisitions at the time.
Following the acquisition, Marshall co-founded OneTrust in 2016, a privacy, security, and data governance platform. As co-chairman, he played a pivotal role in establishing OneTrust as a leader in the compliance industry, offering solutions that help organizations manage privacy, security, and third-party risk. OneTrust has been recognized for its rapid growth and innovation in the compliance space.
