Joshua Kushner

Joshua Kushner is a prominent American venture capitalist and entrepreneur. He is the founder and managing partner of Thrive Capital, a New York-based venture capital firm that focuses on software and internet investments. Thrive Capital has raised over $12 billion since its inception in 2010, with assets under management totaling nearly $25 billion as of 2024. The firm has invested in several high-profile technology platforms, including Instagram, GitHub, Spotify, and Twitch, as well as companies like Scale AI, A24, Stripe, Airtable, Glossier, Plaid, Anduril, Ramp, and Databricks.

In addition to his role at Thrive Capital, Kushner co-founded Oscar Health in 2012, a health insurance startup that aims to make healthcare more accessible and transparent. Oscar Health went public in 2021, with Thrive Capital owning a stake valued at $1.21 billion at that time. Kushner also serves as a minority owner of the Memphis Grizzlies NBA team.
