Keppel Asia Infrastructure Fund (KAIF) is a closed-end infrastructure private equity fund managed by Keppel Capital Holdings Pte. Ltd. The fund adopts a value-add strategy, investing in a portfolio of development and growth opportunities across the Asia Pacific region. By leveraging Keppel's technical expertise and deep operational insights, KAIF aims to create value, de-risk, and stabilize investments through active asset management, delivering attractive risk-adjusted total returns to investors.
The fund's investment strategy focuses on sectors such as energy, utilities, transportation, telecommunications, water, waste management, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, environmental services, urban development, logistics, healthcare, education, agriculture, and real estate. It targets growth and expansion capital investments in these sectors, primarily in developed markets within the Asia Pacific region.
KAIF has achieved significant milestones, including a second closing with aggregate commitments of US$420 million, bringing total capital commitments to US$570 million, with investors such as the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
