Lab IX

Lab IX is a corporate venture capital firm established by Flextronics in 2013 to support early-stage, disruptive technology companies integrating hardware and software innovations. The firm offers a comprehensive accelerator program that includes office and laboratory space, new product introduction services, design and advanced engineering support, and access to Flextronics' global supply chain and manufacturing expertise. This program is co-located with Flextronics' Product Innovation Center in Milpitas, California, providing startups with a collaborative environment to develop and scale their products.

The accelerator focuses on startups that are less than three years old and have secured less than $5 million in funding. Lab IX provides up to $500,000 in a mixed package of cash and services, including a credit line for additional services up to $200,000. In exchange, the firm takes an equity stake ranging from 3% to 20%, depending on the company's stage. The program is designed to help startups take their products to market and the next level by leveraging Flextronics' extensive experience in hardware design, manufacturing, and logistics.
