Marin Sonoma Impact Ventures (MSIV) is a venture capital firm focused on investing in early-stage technology companies within Marin and Sonoma counties in California. The firm primarily targets sectors such as SaaS, fintech, and consumer tech, aiming to foster innovation and economic growth in the North Bay area. MSIV's mission is to back local entrepreneurs and contribute to the development of the region's startup ecosystem.

Established in 2021, MSIV launched the North Bay's first regional venture capital fund, raising $6.6 million from 62 investors, including prominent North Bay CEOs, seasoned professional investors, serial startup founders, and public company executives. The fund has completed investments in several local startups, including Finalis, Novi, Operant Networks, and NewRetirement. MSIV plans to make early-stage venture capital investments across various sectors, targeting 15 North Bay startup companies over a three-year investment period.

In addition to its investment activities, MSIV has played a pivotal role in building a robust startup community in Marin and Sonoma counties. The firm has established networks such as the North Bay Founder Network, supporting over 130 founder/CEOs of early-stage startups, and the MSIV Executive Network, comprising 42 local C-level executives who mentor the next generation of North Bay entrepreneurs. Through these initiatives, MSIV aims to reshape the North Bay's economic future by providing resources, mentorship, and capital to local startups, thereby fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region.
