Mark Zittman

With over three decades in structured finance and private investments, Mark Zittman has co-founded and led several investment firms. He co-founded Tuatara Capital in 2014, focusing on the cannabis industry, and served as its Chairman until 2020. Prior to that, he was a Senior Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, providing customized services to hedge funds, mutual funds, insurance companies, and other financial institutions. In 2020, he founded the Zittman Family Office (ZFO), a single-family office managing a diversified portfolio across private and public markets, with a particular focus on sectors such as cannabis, psychedelics, biotech, longevity, AI/ML, crypto/blockchain, and real estate.

ZFO allocates across all stages and industries, deploying flexible capital to emerging and growth platforms. The office's investment strategy emphasizes sectors with high growth potential and societal impact, reflecting Mark's commitment to innovative and transformative industries. ZFO's portfolio includes direct and fund investments, showcasing a diversified approach to asset management.

Mark holds a B.B.A. from the University of Florida and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is also the founder and managing partner of Costa Familia, an eco-friendly, community-driven land acquisition and development company focused on enhancing the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. His extensive experience and strategic vision have established him as a prominent figure in the investment community, particularly in sectors poised for significant growth and innovation.
