Established in 2019, Meta Investment is a Seoul-based venture capital firm specializing in secondary investments within South Korea's venture market. As the first professional limited partner (LP) secondary investment company in the country, it focuses on providing liquidity solutions for LPs seeking to exit their investments in venture funds. The firm manages one of the largest LP secondary funds domestically and has pioneered the application of the tail-end strategy in fund formation.

Meta Investment's investment strategy centers on acquiring LP interests in venture capital funds, enabling investors to realize returns before the fund's natural liquidation. This approach addresses the challenges faced by LPs in the venture capital ecosystem, particularly in the context of the domestic market. In July 2025, Meta Investment transitioned from a limited company to a joint-stock company, a move aimed at securing greater capital commitments and enhancing its fundraising capabilities. This structural change aligns with the firm's growth trajectory, as assets under management approached 300 billion won at that time. The conversion is expected to facilitate the establishment of larger funds, with plans to launch a 100 billion won secondary fund within the year, further solidifying its position in the market.
