Metalayer Ventures is a New York-based venture capital firm focused on investing in early-stage founders who are reinventing the financial system using blockchain technology. In May 2025, Metalayer Ventures closed its debut fund, Metalayer Fund I, at $25 million. The fund targets investments in early-stage startups building the core infrastructure for crypto-enabled capital markets, focusing on areas like capital markets infrastructure, stablecoin and payment applications, and real-world asset tokenization. Investments typically range from $500,000 to $1 million per company.
