Mohandas Pai

Mohandas Pai is a distinguished Indian investor and philanthropist with a career spanning over four decades. He co-founded Aarin Capital, a private equity firm that invests in various sectors, including technology, education, healthcare, and life sciences. Through Aarin Capital, he has launched over 14 investment vehicles, collectively investing in more than 250 companies with a capital base exceeding $400 million. His portfolio includes notable companies such as Byju's, Counsyl, ZoomCar, Praxify, YourStory, and Licious.

In addition to his role at Aarin Capital, Mohandas serves as the Chairman of Manipal Global Education and has been actively involved in policy formulation and regulatory reforms. He was a Board Member and the Chief Financial Officer of Infosys for 17 years, contributing significantly to the company's growth and global presence. His expertise extends to various sectors, including media, consumer products, fintech, deep tech, and real estate.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mohandas is deeply committed to philanthropy. He co-founded the Akshaya Patra Foundation, the world's largest midday meal program, which feeds millions of school children across India.
