Monark Markets is a New York-based fintech startup that offers 'Alts-as-a-Service' (AaaS) infrastructure, enabling brokerage firms and wealth management platforms to integrate private market investments into their existing customer experiences through a seamless API. In October 2024, Monark raised $2.2 million in a seed funding round, bringing its total funding to $3.6 million. The round was led by Garuda Ventures, with participation from K50 Ventures, Grit Capital Partners, Niche Capital, and angel investors Nik Talreja and Shriram Bhashyam. This funding supports Monark's mission to expand access to private markets and enhance the investment experience for individual investors.

Monark's strategic partnerships further strengthen its position in the market. In September 2025, Monark and Apex Fintech Solutions collaborated to provide retail investors with access to private markets, including pre-IPO opportunities, through a unified platform. This partnership aims to democratize access to private investments, previously reserved for high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors. Additionally, Monark's integration with InteliClear in June 2025 enables seamless processing of alternative investments within existing back-office systems, streamlining operations for brokerage firms and enhancing the overall efficiency of private market transactions.
