The firm manages over 70 billion RMB and has invested in more than 800 companies, including notable names like XPeng, Li Auto, Ele.me, and SemiDrive Technology. MPCi's investment focus spans sectors such as new economy, deep technology, industrial digitalization, healthcare, frontier technology, and new consumer brands.

In July 2024, Matrix Partners rebranded its China unit as MPCi, emphasizing its organizational independence and local approach. Despite the rebranding, MPCi continues to operate as the China investment arm of Matrix Partners, maintaining its focus on supporting innovative companies across various sectors in China.
