Musaab Hakami

Musaab Hakami is a prominent angel investor and entrepreneur specializing in fintech and software sectors. He is the founder and CEO of Mala Inc., a Saudi-based fintech startup offering a 'Procure-Now, Pay-Later' platform designed to provide flexible credit terms to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) while ensuring immediate payments to suppliers. Mala secured $7 million in a pre-seed funding round in October 2024, led by VentureSouq and other notable investors.

Prior to founding Mala, Hakami served as a General Partner for FinTech at VentureSouq, a MENA-based venture capital firm with a portfolio of over 100 companies across 25 countries. In this role, he led investments in innovative fintech startups globally, emphasizing solutions that drive financial inclusion and technological advancement. His portfolio includes investments in companies like CatX in the UK, Pathao in Bangladesh, Wellx in Dubai, and Nomod in the UK.
