SINE

SINE, the Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, is a prominent technology business incubator hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay). Established in 2004, SINE has been instrumental in fostering entrepreneurship and nurturing tech-driven startups, providing comprehensive support to innovators and entrepreneurs. The incubation period typically spans 3 to 5 years, with both physical and virtual formats available. SINE's impact is evident in the success of its portfolio companies, many of which have achieved significant milestones. For instance, ideaForge Technology Pvt. Ltd., a graduate of SINE, filed for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) valued at Rs. 750 crores. Additionally, SINE has been recognized with awards such as the 'Incubator of the Year' by the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association in 2019 and the 'Best Incubator Award' from the Department of Science and Technology in 2009.
