Founded in 2002, NDI Medical is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with locations in North Carolina’s Research Triangle and Minneapolis, Minnesota. In April 2008, NDI Medical sold its first portfolio company to Medtronic Inc. for $42 million, returning over 150 times the original investment back to investors. Since 2008, the NDI Healthcare Fund and its portfolio companies have raised $26 million, including $17 million in private equity and another $9 million in grants and loans from sources such as the National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Defense, and the State of Ohio’s Third Frontier Program.
