Northcap Partners is a Danish venture capital firm specializing in early-stage investments in technology companies. The firm focuses on sectors such as cloud computing (SaaS), communications, mobile/mobility, online services, and e-commerce, seeking entrepreneurs with the ambition and potential to grow internationally. Northcap Partners operates across the Northern half of Europe, including Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Finland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Ireland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the United States.

The firm's investment strategy is structured across three stages of development: Seed, Early Stage, and Growth. In the Seed stage, Northcap Partners invests in companies from around their first revenue onwards, focusing exclusively on Denmark. For Early Stage investments, the firm targets companies with a proven business model and revenue of €1-2 million or more in the Northern half of Europe, including Germany. In the Growth stage, Northcap Partners invests in well-established companies with revenue typically in the range of €10-25 million located in the Northern half of Europe.

Through its extensive network of investors, advisers, and executive talents, Northcap Partners assists portfolio companies in areas such as strategy, internationalization, sales processes, recruitment of world-class teams, and organizational development. The firm aims to build successful technology businesses and has invested in over 40 IT companies since its inception. Northcap Partners' third fund, raised in the summer of 2012, amounted to €70 million and was supported by the European Union through the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP).
