Northern Light Venture Capital (NLVC) is a China-focused venture capital firm established in 2005, specializing in early-stage investments in technology and healthcare sectors. The firm manages approximately $4.5 billion in assets and has made over 300 investments, with more than 50 successful exits. NLVC partners with global entrepreneurs seeking expansion opportunities in China and worldwide, aiming to build sustainable global companies that drive societal change.

The firm's investment strategy allocates 70% of its funds to Series A rounds, 20% to Series B rounds, and 10% to Seed rounds. Notable investments include Aerohive Networks, Meituan, and VIPKid. NLVC has offices in Silicon Valley, Hong Kong, and several cities in China, including Beijing and Shanghai.

NLVC was founded by Feng Deng, Jeffrey Lee, and Yan Ke, who were previously co-founders of NetScreen Technologies, an IT security company that went public on Nasdaq in 2001 and was later acquired by Juniper Networks in 2004 for $4.2 billion. The firm has received backing from New Enterprise Associates and Min Zhu, co-founder of WebEx, during its initial fundraising efforts. Greylock Partners is another early backer of the firm.
