Palestine Investment Fund

Established in 2003, the Palestine Investment Fund (PIF) is a sovereign wealth fund dedicated to strengthening the Palestinian economy through strategic investments. Its mission is to contribute to the establishment of a sovereign and prosperous Palestinian state supported by an innovative and integrated economy and a thriving private sector. PIF operates through three impact investment arms and one asset management company: Amaar, Massader, Sharakat, and Aswaq, each focusing on different sectors such as real estate, energy, agriculture, and asset management.

PIF's investment strategy involves initiating and co-investing in development projects across various critical sectors, including renewable energy, agribusiness, infrastructure, real estate, technology, and entrepreneurship. The fund aims to achieve positive social and economic impact by creating jobs, supporting startups and SMEs, leveraging partner capital, and contributing to the GDP. PIF is professionally managed, based on the principles of transparency, accountability, and good governance.

With close to $1 billion in assets under management, PIF is uniquely positioned to both originate and co-invest in development projects. It is a member of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds and adheres to the Santiago Principles on best practices for managing sovereign wealth funds, demonstrating its commitment to good governance and transparency.
