Parallel18

Parallel18 is an international accelerator program based in Puerto Rico, supporting high-impact startups through funding and mentorship. The program offers a $40,000 equity-free grant to selected startups, along with a comprehensive 20-week acceleration curriculum that includes business development, mentorship, and access to a global network of investors and corporate partners. The accelerator focuses on startups with a global vision and sufficient traction to scale operations.

Since its inception in 2015, Parallel18 has supported over 500 startups from various countries, including the United States, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and the United Kingdom. The program has a strong emphasis on sectors such as technology, healthcare, education, cybersecurity, clean energy, e-commerce, and biotechnology.

Parallel18's mission is to create a thriving startup ecosystem in Puerto Rico by attracting top talent from around the world. By providing funding, mentorship, and access to a robust network, the program aims to help startups scale globally and establish a presence in the U.S. and Latin American markets. The accelerator also offers post-acceleration support through its Xpand program, which focuses on growth-stage companies ready to expand into new markets.
